Coombe Cottage

Booking required

We had an Air Source Heat Pump installed in January 2026 on our 1923 built property. We are now on phase 2, opting to have a garden room built during September to allow 9 solar pv panels on its roof together with an inverter and battery, since 22a is a ground floor flat with no roof. During renovation works the garden was left to fend for itself and rewilded with a big increase in pollinators and insect life.

We turned a dark, coal & gas heated house into spacious bright a 21st century Eco home. To do this we added a rear extension, sky lights, triple glazing, single room MHVR in the kitchen and bathrooms, solar panels, air source heat pump, exterior insulation, underfloor insulation and heating on the ground floor. The whole project had it's difficulties and not all are resolved. We are happy to discuss this.
