Each home is opened by the people who live there. Times vary, so check before you travel.

High Hallsannery

Solar pv, solar thermal, heat pump, ev car and charging. Detached House built in 1989, concrete block, 1980s double glazing, heat pump linked to existing radiators. Solar thermal (vacuum tubes) has coil in heat pump tank and means that heat pump is rarely used in summer for hot water.

Lundy Lodge Full Retrofit

30 year old 3-bed detached house was extended and retrofitted in 2014. Internal wall insulation installed with underfloor heating and new wood double glazed windows. 5kW heat pump installed. Evacuated tube solar hot water system and new tank. (2.8kW PV system installed in 2011.) EV cars purchased in 2017 and 2021. Tesla Powerwall 13kWh battery installed in 2024.

Parking unavailable. Sinai Hill can be accessed on foot from the Lynton car parks. Not suitable for elderly visitors due to access.
